The agreements to be signed today and tomorrow at the first Azerbaijan International Investment Forum (AIIF-2025) in Baku will bring significant benefits, Azerbaijan"s Minister of Economy, Mikayil Jabbarov, said at the forum, according to Report.
"We are leveraging Baku"s natural advantage as the only capital on the Caspian Sea to attract foreign direct investment, while continuing to highlight the abundance of talent in this region. Structurally, our economy is not a capital exporter, and we do not restrict participants from the private sector or state-owned companies from taking positions in strategically important jurisdictions; on the contrary, we want to be an integral part of the ecosystem," the minister said.
