Husyev: Azerbaijani businesses' participation in Ukraine's reconstruction promising

The participation of Azerbaijani businesses in the reconstruction of Ukraine is promising, Ukrainian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Yuriy Husyev said following a meeting with Yusif Abdullayev, Chairman of the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO), Report informs.

According to him, the meeting addressed prospects for expanding Ukraine-Azerbaijan economic cooperation, intensifying interaction in investment, and developing business ties between representatives of the two countries.

"Particular attention was paid to attracting Azerbaijani investments into Ukraine's economy, implementing joint investment projects, as well as creating favorable conditions for launching new business initiatives," he said.

Husyev also noted that one of the key areas is strengthening coordination between Ukrainian and Azerbaijani investors. This is particularly aimed at more actively presenting the opportunities of the Ukrainian market, as well as expanding prospects for Azerbaijani businesses to participate in the reconstruction and development of Ukraine.

Following the meeting, the sides agreed to continue interaction and joint work to expand the strategic partnership between Ukraine and Azerbaijan in investment and trade and economic areas.

"Ukraine highly appreciates Azerbaijan's support and is interested in further deepening economic partnership, involving Azerbaijani businesses in Ukraine's reconstruction, and implementing mutually beneficial investment projects," the ambassador emphasized.
