Expansion of Germany-Azerbaijan economic partnership discussed in Baku

An additional panel session titled "German-Azerbaijani Economic Partnership: Business Dialogue and Cooperation" was held in Baku as part of the 2nd Azerbaijan International Investment Forum (AIIF 2026).

According to Report, citing the Ministry of Economy, the session was organized in cooperation with the German-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce.

Speakers included Deputy Economy Minister Samad Bashirli, Michael Harms, Executive Director of the German Eastern Business Association, Hannes Ametsreiter, Chairman of the Board of 1Global, Yusif Abdullayev, Executive Director of AZPROMO, and Azer Vahabzada, Chief Executive Officer of Milla Dairy.

The panel participants exchanged views on the current state and prospects for developing bilateral economic ties, promoting mutual investment, expanding industrial cooperation, and opportunities for collaboration in technology and innovation.
