Some European countries have switched to a 4-day working regime, but this issue should be studied thoroughly, Deputy Minister of Economy Elnur Aliyev said at the Human Resources Summit held under the motto Back to the Future.
"The stated and real intention of implementing the 4-day working regime is different. While the stated intention is for people to have more free time, the real and underlying intention is for entrepreneurs to save financial resources. That is, this issue is two-sided. Some countries are implementing it as a pilot project. A 4-day routine should be explored. This issue cannot be solved only by the Ministry of Economy. Moreover, this issue may differ from country to country," Aliyev added.
