Cost of paid services to Azerbaijani population up by 15%

During January-July this year, the cost of paid services rendered to the population in Azerbaijan amounted to 6,242.6 million manats ($3.7 billion), up 15.2% from the same period last year.

Report informs, referring to the State Statistical Committee, that legal entities accounted for 4,682.6 million manats ($2.8 billion) or 75% of the total cost of services.

During the reporting period, the public sector accounted for 1,315.9 million manats ($0.77 billion) of the cost of paid services, and the private sector for 4,926.7 million ($2.9 billion).

During the past 7 months, each resident of the country used various paid services worth 615.5 manats ($362.06) on average, 127 manats ($74.71) more than a year earlier.
