Chheng Kimlong: Southeast Asia becoming leading power center for continental development

The Asian region has huge potential for development in the field of cooperation in supply chains and their integration, President of the Asian Vision Institute of Cambodia Chheng Kimlong said at the 13th session of the CICA Think Tank Forum in Baku, Report informs.

One of the main directions of this process is the transformation into green energy, rational use of resources and adaptation to the growing economic dynamism of the countries of the region, he noted.

"Asia is one of the fastest-growing continents in the world. Southeast Asia is becoming a leading regional power center of continental development, and this development is supported by the largest economies, including China," the expert said.

Kimlong added that it is important to adapt to developing economies and respond to innovations in a timely manner.
