Birol Küle: OTS competition authorities may conduct joint research - EXCLUSIVE

The competition authorities of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) member countries may conduct joint research, Birol Küle, chairman of the Turkish Competition Authority, told Report.

He noted that in the area of ​​competition, it is necessary to move from theoretical discussions to practical cooperation.

"Numerous theoretical studies have been conducted on the benefits of competition. Now we should leave theoretical discussions behind and focus on practical implementation. This means joint work by competition authorities, the implementation of joint projects, the development of unified solutions to common problems, and joint industry research," he added.

Küle emphasized that in the next stage, the competition authorities of the OTS countries may also conduct joint investigations and analytical studies.

"In a globalized world, many countries face similar challenges. Therefore, joint work by the competition authorities of the OTS countries can yield significant results both at the regional and international levels," he said.
