Baku, Washington eye framework agreement after historic summit

Following the historic meeting in Washington, favorable conditions have emerged for the signing of a Framework Agreement between Azerbaijan and the United States, Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov said during a special Cabinet session dedicated to President Ilham Aliyev’s US visit, Report informs.
According to the minister, Azerbaijan’s contribution to regional and global energy security was highlighted during the talks:
“Azerbaijan’s rich energy resources, including its potential in renewable energy, drew special attention,” Jabbarov added.
