AZPROMO: Azerbaijan-Armenia peace treaty to unlock new investment opportunities

The signing of a peace treaty between Azerbaijan and Armenia will pave the way for new investment prospects, Yusif Abdullayev, Executive Director of the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO), stated during the business panel "Investments in the Caspian Region," Report informs.

Abdullayev recalled that Azerbaijan and Armenia signed a joint declaration on August 8, 2025:

"This marked the beginning of a new stage in the development of our relations with Armenia. The peace treaty has essentially been prepared, and I am confident that after its signing, new investment opportunities will emerge. From a logistics perspective, the launch of the Zangazur Corridor will be of great importance for attracting investments to Azerbaijan."
