AZPROMO, African Business Council discuss joint forum

Azerbaijan's Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO) and the African Business Council have discussed the possibility of organizing an Africa-Azerbaijan business forum with the council's support, Report informs, citing AZPROMO.

The discussions took place during a meeting with the council's delegation.

The sides explored potential cooperation opportunities in agriculture, mining, construction, and other sectors, as well as prospects for promoting mutual investments and organizing business missions.

AZPROMO Executive Director Yusif Abdullayev provided information about the agency's activities and the current state of economic relations between Azerbaijan and African countries.

President of the African Business Council Amani Asfour spoke about the organization's work and stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation between the Azerbaijani and African business communities.

During the meeting, AZPROMO was also invited to attend the 49th session of the Executive Council of the African Union in Egypt in June and the African Mining Conference to be held in South Africa in October.
