Azerbaijani companies to gain easier access to Italian technologies, equipment

Italy's State Export Credit Agency (SACE) and the Azerbaijan Business Development Fund (ABDF) have signed a cooperation agreement aimed at facilitating Azerbaijani companies' access to financial solutions for the acquisition of Italian equipment, technology, services, and know-how, Report informs referring to SACE.

The agreement was signed by Michele Pignotti, Executive Director of the agency, and Ulvi Mansurov, Chairman of the Fund's Board.

The agreement is aimed at supporting the development of new investment projects involving Italian exporters, suppliers, contractors, technology partners, and financial institutions.

As part of this partnership, SACE and the Azerbaijan Business Development Fund intend to work together to make SACE's instruments in the areas of export credit, guarantees, insurance, and financial support more accessible. At the same time, the parties plan to facilitate new contacts between Italian and Azerbaijani companies, banks, and local institutions, as well as organize business matchmaking events.
