Azerbaijani citizens reduce home purchase in Turkiye by 23%

Azerbaijani citizens purchased 873 apartments in Turkiye in January-August, which is 15 units or 1.75% more than in the first eight months of 2021, Report informs, citing the Turkish Statistical Institute.

In August this year, Azerbaijani citizens bought 106 apartments (32 apartments or 23.2% less compared to August 2021) in Turkiye.

During the eight months of this year, 45,069 apartments (+44.2%) were sold to foreign citizens and 5,340 apartments (-9.98%) were sold last month.

Russian citizens received the most housing in Turkiye. They bought 1,238 apartments in August and 8,157 in January-August.

The next place is occupied by Iranian citizens. Those from this country bought 633 apartments in the brother country last month and 5,948 in January-August.

Iraqi citizens had 417 apartments in August and 4,822 in January-August.
