Azerbaijan, Türkiye expand information exchange in customs

Azerbaijan and Türkiye have held discussions on the exchange of information between their customs authorities, Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee (SCC).
The discussions were held during a meeting of delegations led by Deputy Chairman of the SCC, Natig Shirinov, and Caglayan Aslan, Head of the Statistics and Evaluation Department at Türkiye’s Ministry of Trade.
The talks focused on the maintenance of statistics within customs operations and the evaluation of statistical data. Both sides underscored the significance of expanding mutual experiences in mirror statistics and other collaborative areas to strengthen customs cooperation.
