Azerbaijan to import seafood from Georgia

Maricultura Georgia, operating in Georgia’s Adjara Autonomous Republic, plans to export seafood to Azerbaijan, Report informs, citing the Georgian Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture.
The company, established in 2020 near the coastal village of Kvariati, cultivates and grows mussels and oysters. Presently, the products are sold on the domestic market. The enterprise plans to export the seafood after increasing production volumes.
Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Russia, Hong Kong, and Canada have already expressed interest in purchasing these products from Georgia.
