Azerbaijan starts exporting cotton yarn to Italy 

Azerbaijan exported 8,623 tons of cotton yarn worth $33.12 million in 2022, respectively, down 53% and 43% from the previous year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

In the reporting period, Azerbaijan exported 6,602 tons of cotton yarn (-59%) worth $26.57 million (+49%) to Türkiye, 1,978 tons (+1%) worth $6.4 million (+27%) to Russia, and 20 tons (-86%) worth $68,000 (-77%) to Ukraine.

Azerbaijan exported 19 tons worth $68,400 to Italy after 11 years and 4 tons worth $11,200 to Georgia after 2 years and 5 months.
