Azerbaijan showcases investment opportunities in Izmir

Informative presentations on Azerbaijan's investment opportunities were held in Izmir, organized by the Trade Representative Office of Azerbaijan in Türkiye, Report informs, referring to the country's Ministry of Economy.

The event was jointly organized by Azerbaijan's Trade Representative Office in Türkiye and the Izmir Azerbaijan Association (IZAZDER). Members of IZAZDER and Izmir business leaders attended.

Speeches were delivered by Azerbaijan's Trade Representative in Türkiye, Tamerlan Taghiyev, IZAZDER Chairman Parviz Altay, and IZAZDER Türkiye–Azerbaijan Development Committee Chairman Tamer Öztürk. They highlighted investment opportunities in Azerbaijan and the strengthening of business relations between the two countries. Presentations on Azerbaijan's business and investment environment were held, questions from entrepreneurs were answered, and discussions took place.

During the visit, participants toured the production facilities of Heber Engineering in Izmir. At the meeting with company management, information was provided on Azerbaijan's business climate and incentives, and cooperation opportunities were discussed.

Additionally, at the meeting of the Association of Consular Corps Members, information was shared about Azerbaijan's investment environment. Deputy Chairman of the Association Ahmet Fahri Yiğitbaşı and Rector of Yaşar University, Professor Levent Kandiller, emphasized the importance of strengthening economic and trade cooperation between Azerbaijan and Türkiye.
