Azerbaijan sharply reduces export of tobacco, its industrial substitutes

In January 2021, Azerbaijan imported tobacco and tobacco products worth $6.537 million, Report informs referring to the State Customs Committee.

This is $1.681 million or 34.6 percent more than in the same period last year.

In the first month of this year, imports of tobacco and tobacco products accounted for 0.8 percent of total imports.

During the reporting period, tobacco and its industrial substitutes for $95,000 were exported from Azerbaijan, which is $686,000 or 87.85 percent less than the annual indicator.

Exports of tobacco and tobacco substitutes accounted for 0.01 percent of total exports.
