Azerbaijan sharply increases purchase of perfume from UAE

Azerbaijan imported 845 tons of perfume and toilet water (+36%) worth $14.75 million (+19%) in the first half of this year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

In the reporting period, Azerbaijan received 47.7 tons (-16.7%) worth $4.8 million from France (-8.8%), 192 tons (+4.6 times) worth $1.95 million (+3.6 times) from the United Arab Emirates, 23.1 tons (+54%) worth $1.4 million (+53%) from Spain, 314.5 tons (+47%) worth $1.4 million (+91%) from China, and 20.1 tons (+7%) worth $1.4 million (+23.3%) from Italy.

In 2022, 40% of perfume and toilet water worth $26.5 million imported to Azerbaijan (from 28 countries) came from France.
