Azerbaijan sees over twofold surge in trade turnover with US

In January–March of 2026, the value of trade turnover between Azerbaijan and the United States amounted to approximately $296.3 million, marking a 2.2-fold increase year-on-year, Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan.
During the reporting period, trade with the US accounted for 3.1% of Azerbaijan's total foreign trade turnover.
In the first quarter of this year, Azerbaijan's exports to the US increased by 41.6%, reaching almost $22.3 million, while imports from the US rose 2.3 times to almost $274 million.
Over the course of three months, exports to the US made up 0.4% of Azerbaijan's total exports, while imports from the US accounted for 6.8% of total imports.
