Azerbaijan sees drop in foreign trade turnover positive balance

In January-May 2025, Azerbaijan conducted trade operations worth $20.966 billion with other countries, 13.7% more year-on-year, Report informs, citing the country's State Customs Committee.
Of the foreign trade turnover, $11 billion accounted for exports, and $9.965 billion for imports. Over the past year, exports decreased by 1.2%, while imports increased by 36.5%.
As a result, a positive balance of $1.036 billion was created in foreign trade. This is 3.7 times less compared to the same period of 2024.
