Azerbaijan's strawberry exports surge 2.5-fold in value

Azerbaijan exported 46,439 tons of fresh strawberries worth $67.15 million in the first half of this year.

According to Report's calculations based on data from the State Statistical Committee, this was 2.5 times higher in value and 88% higher in volume compared with the same period last year.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan exported 45,613 tons of strawberries worth $66.1 million to Russia, up 87% in volume and 2.5 times in value year-on-year.

Exports to Kazakhstan amounted to 691.4 tons worth $841,700, increasing 2.4 times in volume and 2.7 times in value. Azerbaijan also supplied Georgia with 83.2 tons worth $121,700, up sixfold in volume and eightfold in value, and Belarus with 51.3 tons worth $64,600, with both volume and value rising fourfold.

Russia accounted for 98.9% of the 36,478 tons of strawberries exported from Azerbaijan in 2025.
