Azerbaijan’s positive balance on foreign trade falls by 19%

In January-June 2023, Azerbaijan conducted trade transactions with foreign countries worth $26.166 billion, 5.4% more than a year ago, Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee.

Over the year, exports decreased by 2.8% to $17.968 billion, while imports grew by 29% to $8.198 billion.

Consequently, a positive balance of $9.769 billion, 19.4% less than a year ago, was formed in foreign trade
