Azerbaijan's foreign trade turnover exceeds $33.2 billion

Azerbaijan conducted foreign trade operations worth $33.238 billion in January-August 2026.
According to Report, citing the State Customs Committee, this was 3.5% more than in the same period last year.
Exports accounted for $21.815 billion of the foreign trade turnover, while imports amounted to $11.423 billion. Over the past year, exports increased by 27.8%, while imports declined by 24.1%.
As a result, Azerbaijan recorded a foreign trade surplus of $10.392 billion, 5.2 times higher than a year earlier.
