Azerbaijan's black metal export revenues up over 30% in 1H26

In January–June 2026, Azerbaijan exported 54,546 tons of black metals and related products worth $59.338 million, Report informs, citing the country's State Customs Committee.

According to the latest data, this represents an increase of $13.835 million (30.4%) in value and 11,563 tons (26.9%) in volume compared to the same period last year.

During the reporting period, these products accounted for 1% of Azerbaijan's non-oil exports and 0.3% of total national exports.

Overall, Azerbaijan conducted foreign trade operations worth $24.661 billion in the first half of 2026, representing a 1.1% year-on-year (YoY) increase. Of this, $16.320 billion came from exports and $8.341 billion from imports. Exports rose by 26.7% YoY, while imports dropped by 27.6% YoY.
