Azerbaijan resumes supply of green tea from Lithuania

In January-June 2022, Azerbaijan imported 99.58 tons (-7.4%) of green tea worth $654,960 (-14.5%) from abroad, Report informs, citing State Statistics Committee.
In the reporting period, 32.56 tons (-25.6%) worth $270,380 were imported from Russia (-7.5%), 52.53 tons (+79%) worth $178,840 (+78%) from China, 3.49 tons (-81.4%) worth $65,140 (-66%) from Turkiye, 4.63 tons (-28.5%) worth $50,440 (-22%) from the United Arab Emirates, and 4.06 tons (-3%) worth $48,240 (-7.7%) from Sri Lanka.
After a one-year and five-month break, 0.08 tons of green tea worth $1,780 were supplied from Lithuania.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan exported 53.21 tons (-6%) of green tea worth $207,280 (-5%).
In the first half to 2022, Azerbaijan exported 31.1 tons (+48%) worth $76,350 (+36%) to Russia, 13.42 tons (-36.8%) worth $73,390 (-32%) to Ukraine, 2.14 tons (+11.5%) worth $15,610 (+23%) to Georgia, 1.9 tons (+7 times) worth $12,490 (+5.6 times) to the UAE, and 1 ton (-52%) worth of $6,050 (-59%) to Uzbekistan.
