Azerbaijan resumes import of sugar beet seeds from France

In the first half of this year, Azerbaijan imported 20.6 tons (+73.5%) of sugar beet seeds worth $593,000 (+45.3%) from abroad, Report informs, citing the State Statistics Committee.

During the reporting period, 7.95 tons (+9.5%) worth $274,000 were supplied from Germany (-3.5%), 6.1 tons (+4.6 times) worth $152,000 (+4.3 times) from Italy, 5.75 tons (+94.3%) worth $135,000 (+71%) from Belgium and 0.8 tons worth $32,000 from France.

After a break of one year and four months, the supply from France was restored.
