Azerbaijan resumes import of electricity meters from Georgia

Azerbaijan imported 373,850 electricity meters (+32%) worth $10.82 million (+26%) in 2023, Report informs, citing the State Statistics Committee.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan received 142,955 units (+34%) worth $8.39 million from China (+50%), 230,267 units (+31%) worth $2.32 million from Türkiye (+31%), 233 units (+26 times) worth $49,200 (+49 times) from Italy, 257 units (-63%) worth $31,000 (-74%) from Russia, and 19 units (+6 times) worth $11,000 (+45%) from the United States.
After a break of 7 years and 4 months, Azerbaijan resumed supplies from Georgia (11 units worth $0.44 thousand).
In 2022, Türkiye accounted for 62% and China accounted for 37.6% of the 283,713 electric meters imported by Azerbaijan (from 13 countries).
