Azerbaijan reduces textile import costs from Türkiye by nearly 12%

In January–April of this year, Azerbaijan imported textile products worth $13.545 million from Türkiye.
According to the Turkish Exporters Assembly, cited by Report, this represents an 11.5% decrease compared to the same period last year.
In April alone, Türkiye exported textile products worth $3.938 million to Azerbaijan, which is 6.9% lower year-on-year.
Over the first four months of the year, Türkiye"s total textile exports declined by 1.9% year-on-year to $3.13 billion, while in April exports increased by 16.3% to $896 million.
Italy remained the largest importer of Turkish textile products, with imports worth $260.881 million, up 2.1% year-on-year. It was followed by the United States with $202.583 million, up 27.5%, and Spain with $193 million, up 5.3%.
