Azerbaijan reduces expenditures on rice imports 28%

From January to July of this year, Azerbaijan imported 27,400 tons of rice worth $24.1 million, Report informs.

According to the State Customs Committee, this represents a decrease of 8,200 tons (22.9%) in quantity and $9.45 million (28.1%) in value compared to the same period last year.

During the reporting period, rice import expenditures accounted for 0.2% of Azerbaijan's total import expenditures.
