Azerbaijan posts nearly 4-fold decline in positive foreign trade balance

In January-February 2025, Azerbaijan conducted trade transactions with other countries worth $8.9 billion, 23.2% more than in the same period last year, Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee.
Of the foreign trade turnover, nearly $4.77 billion fell on exports, and $4.14 billion on imports. Over the past year, exports decreased by 0.3%, while imports increased by 69.1%.
As a result, a positive balance of $628.45 million was formed in foreign trade, 3.7-fold less year-on-year.
