Azerbaijan posts 45% growth in revenues from sunflower oil exports to main supply market 

Azerbaijan imported 19,635 tons of sunflower oil worth $31.1 million in January-July, down 42.8% and 32.5%, respectively, from the previous year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

The countries exported sunflower oil to Azerbaijan:

- Russia - 19,179 tons (-43.3%) worth $30 million (-33.4%)
- Turkiye – 349 tons (-6.4%) worth $792,000 (+18.6%)
- Ukraine – 77.2 tons (+83%) worth $140,000 (+74%)
- Italy – 24.4 tons (+2 times) worth $60,000 (+2.2 times)
- Belarus – 3.9 tons (+15.8%) worth $9,000 (+33.5%)

After two years and two months, Azerbaijan resumed importing sunflower oil supply from France (10 kg worth $20)

In the reporting period, Azerbaijan exported 3,792 tons (-0.3%) of sunflower oil worth $7.8 million (+33.3%).

The countries imported sunflower oil from Azerbaijan:

- Iraq – 2,229 tons (+4.8%) worth $4.6 million (+45%)
- Georgia – 1,462 tons (-9%) worth $3 million (+17%)
- Turkmenistan – 100.46 tons worth $167,000
- US – 0.55 tons (+2 times) worth $1,000 (+ 2 times)
