Azerbaijan, Pakistan's Punjab province strengthen cooperation in several areas

Azerbaijan and Pakistan's Punjab province discussed strengthening joint activities in various sectors of the economy.

Report informs that Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov said this on X.

Jabbarov met with Chief Minister of Pakistan's Punjab province Maryam Nawaz Sharif on the sidelines of the World Urban Forum (WUF13).

During the meeting, satisfaction was noted with the Azerbaijan-Pakistan strategic partnership.

"We discussed fully realizing the economic cooperation potential of our countries and strengthening joint activities with Punjab province in investment, trade, energy, industry, transport and other areas," Jabbarov said.

The minister also noted the role of the preferential trade agreement in strengthening business ties and the active support for business relations.
