Azerbaijan more than doubles nitrogen fertilizer exports

In January-September 2024, Azerbaijan exported 408,639 tons of nitrogen fertilizers worth $89.93 million, Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee.

Compared to the same period last year, the value of exported products increased 1.8 times, and the volume increased 2.1 times.

In September, the country exported 46,996 tons of nitrogen fertilizers worth $11.28 million, which is 32% and 28% more respectively compared to the same period last year.

In January-September 2024, Azerbaijan exported main non-oil products worth 2.08 billion. This is 4.2% less compared to the same period in 2023. Nitrogen fertilizers account for 4.32% of Azerbaijan's main non-oil product exports.
