Azerbaijan increases its furniture import expenses by over 23%

In January-October 2024, Azerbaijan imported furniture and its parts worth over $137.4 million, Report informs, citing the country's State Customs Committee.

This is $26 million or 23.34% more compared to the first 10 months of 2023.

The cost of importing furniture and its spare parts constituted 0.83% of Azerbaijan's total import expenses.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan conducted trade operations worth over $39.378 billion with other countries. Of the trade turnover, $22.742 billion accounted for exports, while $16.636 billion accounted for imports.
