Azerbaijan increases cost of importing sugar by 8%

In January-November of this year, Azerbaijan imported sugar and sugar confectionery worth 224.54 million (+8.3%), Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee.

In the reporting period, Azerbaijan also exported $23.806 million worth of sugar and sugar confectionery (-27.6%).

During 11 months, the import of sugar and confectionery made up 1.4% of the total imports of Azerbaijan, and the export made up 0.1% of the total exports.
