Azerbaijan increases cost of importing furniture and forest products from Türkiye by more than 8%

In January-August of this year, Azerbaijan imported furniture, paper and forest products worth $103.624 million (+8.4%) from Türkiye, Report informs, citing the Türkiye Exporters Assembly.

In August alone, Türkiye exported $12.598 million worth of furniture, paper and forest products to Azerbaijan, 23% less than the previous year.

In 8 months, the total value of Türkiye's export of furniture, paper and forest products decreased by 3.5% year-on-year to $5.266 billion and in August alone, it dropped by 7.1% to $0.679 billion.
