Azerbaijan improves its position in Global Innovation Index

Azerbaijan has improved its position in the 2021 edition of the Global Innovation Index (GII) of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), Report informs referring to WIPO.
Azerbaijan took 80th place in the ranking published in Geneva on September 20. In 2020, Azerbaijan ranked 82nd.
At the same time, Switzerland ranked first, Sweden was second, and the US was third this year.
The Global Innovation Index takes into account such parameters as human capital and research, infrastructure, market and business development, knowledge and technology, creativity.
