Azerbaijan exports 58,470 tons of tomato paste in four months

Azerbaijan exported 58,470 tons of tomato paste in January–April this year, worth $75.1 million, according to the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan.

Compared to the same period last year, export value increased by $406,200 (0.5%), while export volume decreased by 1,678 tons (2.7%).

Tomato paste exports accounted for 0.6% of Azerbaijan's total export revenues during the reporting period.

Overall, Azerbaijan conducted foreign trade worth $17.403 billion in January–April. Of this, $11.88 billion accounted for exports and $5.53 billion for imports. Over the past year, exports rose by 35.2%, while imports fell by 32.1%.
