Azerbaijan exported 77,400 tons of potatoes in 7 months

In January-July 2026, Azerbaijan exported 77,400 tons of potatoes worth $29.7 million, Report informs.

According to the State Customs Committee, this represents an increase of 6,600 tons (9.2%) in quantity and $1.6 million (5.5%) in value compared to the same period last year.

During the reporting period, the share of potato export revenues in Azerbaijan's total export revenues was insignificant.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan conducted trade transactions with foreign countries worth $29.216 billion, a 1.3% increase compared to the same period last year.

Exports accounted for $19.336 billion of the foreign trade turnover, while imports accounted for $9.881 billion.
