Azerbaijan exported $31M worth of sugar, confectionery products so far in 2024

In January-September 2024, Azerbaijan exported 40,042.95 tons of sugar and sugar confectionery products worth $31.13 million, Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee.

Compared to the same period in 2023, the value of exported products increased by 75.2%, while the volume increased by 73.2%.

In September, the country exported 9,003.78 tons of sugar and sugar confectionery products worth $6.93 million, which is 24 times and 32 times more, respectively, compared to the same period last year.

In January-September of this year, Azerbaijan exported main non-oil products worth $2.08 billion, 4.2% less compared to the same period in 2023. Sugar and confectionery products account for 1.5% of Azerbaijan's main non-oil exports.
