Azerbaijan earns $628M from fruit and vegetable exports in 11 months

In January-November 2024, Azerbaijan exported 610,005 tons of fruits and vegetables worth $627,969,300, Report informs, citing the country's State Customs Committee.

Compared to the same period last year, the value of exported products decreased by 2.1%, and the volume dropped by 4.9%.

During the 11 months, fruits and vegetables accounted for 23.7% of Azerbaijan's main non-oil export products.

In November, the country exported 94,320 tons of fruits and vegetables worth $92,974,300, which is 3.9% and 9.3% less respectively compared to a year ago.

In January-November 2024, Azerbaijan exported main non-oil products worth $2,648,607,400 - 2.4% less compared to the previous year.

During the 11 months, Azerbaijan conducted trade operations worth $43.10 billion with other countries. Of the foreign trade turnover, exports accounted for $24.337 billion, while imports accounted for $18.771 billion. Over the past year, exports decreased by 22.8%, while imports went up by 18.7%.
