Azerbaijan earned $424M from fruit, vegetable exports in 8 months

Azerbaijan exported 408,100 tons of fruits and vegetables, generating $424 million in revenue, Report informs, citing the country’s State Customs Committee.

Compared to the corresponding period in 2023, the exports dropped by 6.2 percent in volume and 3.3 percent in value.

In August alone, Azerbaijan exported 39,600 tons of fruits and vegetables worth $40.1 million, reflecting increases of 4.4% in volume and 4% in value compared to August of the previous year.

Overall, Azerbaijan’s trade transactions with foreign countries exceeded $30.995 billion in the first eight months of 2024.
