Azerbaijan boosts wheat imports by 31%

In January-August of 2025, Azerbaijan imported 759,945 tons of wheat, valued at $163.501 million, Report informs, referring to the country"s State Customs Committee.
These figures represent an increase of 180,019 tons (31%) in volume and $35.14 million (27.3%) in value compared to the same period last year.
During eight months, spending on wheat imports accounted for 1.1% of Azerbaijan's total import costs.
