Azerbaijan boosts spending on import of vehicles, spare parts by over 5%

In the first quarter of 2025, Azerbaijan imported vehicles and related spare parts worth just over $493.6 million, representing a year-on-year increase of $25.11 million or 5.4%, Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee.
Over a period of three months, the cost of importing vehicles and their parts constituted 8.7% of Azerbaijan's total import expenses.
In total, Azerbaijan conducted trade transactions with other countries worth just over $12.048 billion in January-March of 2025. Of that, exports accounted for almost $6.386 billion and imports were responsible for under $5.663 billion.
