Azerbaijan and Switzerland discuss priorities for economic partnership

Azerbaijan and Switzerland exchanged views on priority areas for developing economic partnership, Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov said on X.

"As part of our working visit to Switzerland, we met with Andrea Rauber Saxer, Federal Council Delegate for Trade Agreements and Head of the Bilateral Economic Relations Division at the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs, and Co-Chair of the Swiss-Azerbaijani Joint Commission," the minister said.

They reportedly explored priority areas for further strengthening the Azerbaijan–Switzerland economic partnership and exchanged views on prospects for expanding practical cooperation.

"We noted that expanding direct ties between the business communities of our countries, promoting mutual investment, and advancing new joint initiatives would contribute to further strengthening our economic partnership," Jabbarov noted.
