Azerbaijan, North Macedonia mull energy cooperation

Azerbaijan and North Macedonia discussed expanding trade and investment ties, as well as stepping up cooperation in the energy sector.

According to Report, citing Azerbaijan's Ministry of Economy, the talks were held between Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov and North Macedonia's Minister of Economy and Labor Besar Durmishi on the sidelines of the 2nd Azerbaijan International Investment Forum.

The ministers discussed the current state of economic cooperation and prospects for its development. They also exchanged views on bilateral partnership, the implementation of priority projects and expanding contacts between the business communities of the two countries.

Particular attention was paid to developing cooperation in areas of mutual interest and exploring new opportunities for partnership.
