Azerbaijan and Chile discuss prospects for economic cooperation

Azerbaijan and Chile have exchanged views on prospects for developing economic and trade relations between the two countries, Report informs, citing the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO).

The discussions took place during a meeting between AZPROMO Deputy Executive Director Tural Hajili and Juan Carlos Salazar Alvarez, Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of Chile in Azerbaijan.

The sides also discussed opportunities to expand ties between the business communities of the two countries and implement joint initiatives in the future.

During the meeting, AZPROMO provided information about its activities, Azerbaijan's business and investment environment, as well as the 2nd Azerbaijan International Investment Forum scheduled for September this year.

The sides agreed to facilitate the participation of Chilean companies and relevant institutions in the forum.
