Azerbaijan among few countries with positive recent trends

Azerbaijan is among the few countries with positive recent trends, Raffaele Marchetti, Director of the Center for International and Strategic Studies, said at the First Azerbaijan International Investment Forum held in Baku, Report informs.

According to him, Azerbaijan stands on the winning side of history:

"We should also focus on the preliminary agreement with Armenia. This is very important. The support of the United States in this process should also be emphasized. Azerbaijan's development over the past decades is evident. We must take a closer look at diplomatic and economic relations."

Marchetti highlighted that although Azerbaijan is an oil and gas country, it is already taking serious steps to address future challenges.

"In line with modern demands, Azerbaijan must continue to develop further," he added.
