Amy Carlon: Azerbaijan has strong potential as transport, logistics hub

Azerbaijan has significant potential as a regional transport and logistics hub, US Chargé d'Affaires ad interim in Baku Amy Carlon at a luncheon of the American Chamber of Commerce in Azerbaijan (AmCham), the embassy told Report.

In her remarks, Carlon also emphasized that Baku and Washington are working to expand cooperation in regional connectivity, including energy, trade, and transit. In addition, the sides are developing investment cooperation, including in such areas as artificial intelligence and digital infrastructure, as well as strengthening cooperation in the field of security.

The diplomatic mission noted that the event was also attended by US State Department Senior Advisor for Economic, Energy, and Business Affairs Rebecca Neff and US Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) Country Manager for Europe and Eurasia Sara Leming.
