Aghdam Industrial Park creates 1,230 permanent jobs

Up to 180 million manat, about $105.9 million, has been invested in Aghdam Industrial Park, where 1,230 permanent jobs have been created, Report's correspondent in Aghdam informs.
Taleh Guliyev, head of the International Cooperation and Public Relations Department at the Economic Zones Development Agency, said this during a media tour.
According to him, Aghdam Industrial Park is the second-largest industrial park in the country by number of residents.
"Resident status has been granted to 30 entrepreneurs here, while four entrepreneurs have received non-resident status. To date, entrepreneurs have invested up to 180 million manat in the park and created 1,230 permanent jobs. The jobs created are mainly held by residents of Aghdam and surrounding districts," Guliyev said.
He noted that 12 enterprises are operating in the park, while construction of another 12 is ongoing.
"At the same time, 10 enterprises are currently at the design stage. In the first six months of 2026, entrepreneurs sold products worth 976 million manat (about $574.1 million). Of this amount, products worth 42 million manat (about $24.7 million), were exported," Guliyev said.
